Honey, now branded as PayPal Honey, is a free browser extension that automatically finds and applies coupon codes at online checkout across thousands of UK and global retailers. It supports Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and Opera browsers. When shopping online, Honey tests available discount codes and applies the best one, saving users time and money. The extension also includes price tracking and a rewards system called PayPal Rewards where users earn points redeemable for cash. Honey runs a referral programme where existing users share their unique link. When a referred friend signs up and makes their first qualifying purchase, both parties earn 500 PayPal Rewards points, worth approximately £4 each. The extension was acquired by PayPal in 2020 for $4 billion.
